Ian is a customer facing engineer for Chef and supports multiple community meetups in the greater Cincinnati area and has been known to frequently drop into community meetups he comes across during his regular travels. In his role at Chef, Ian helps customers design and deploy systems that sanely leverage Chef and follow infrastructure-as-code paradigms, develops automation and tooling, and occasionally gets to hack on some internal and community projects.  When he's not working he enjoys gaming, biking, listening to metal and spending quality time with his wife and his Great Dane.
